A SISTER COMPANY TO THE KONZA PRESS

The KONZA ART COMPANY is a sister organization to The Konza Press with the tightly focused mission of helping businesses and institutions decorate their spaces with meaningful, regionally specific, artwork—and to do so without breaking the bank. Over the years, we have quietly developed this area of our business into a real specialty. Typically we are able to assess your needs, develop a plan, produce the work, deliver and install—all within a window of about six weeks.

"After renovating our 14,000 square feet of offices, we realized that we needed to add some interesting and practical art to the space. After reviewing several options and galleries, we decided that the Konza Art Company had a product that was easy to relate to and very well priced. Many of our employees told me after the installation was completed that they really enjoyed all of the various images and that the office felt entirely different! Mark Feiden and the Konza Art Company made the process both smooth and enjoyable."

—Bryan Johnson, CEO, Colliers International–Kansas City

"I first became aware of Mark Feiden's work through his book "The Flint Hills." When I contacted him about the possibility of prints for our offices, I didn't realize that this is a big part of what they do. We started with our headquarters and now have now have Konza Art Company images on 7 floors of 4 buildings! Needless to say, we love the work and have been more than happy with the level of service."

               —Laura Smith, Shamrock Trading Corporation

"We just had our newer dental offices outfitted by the Konza Art Company, and everyone, both staff and patients, are pleased with our investment. We enjoy being able to share work that has an authentic, Kansas connection—it gives the images personal meaning and we have even had a few patients recognize some of the locations! The exam room pieces are interchangeable so that we can keep things fresh, and we love the visual "pop" that the colorful images bring to our professional space."

—Matt Krische, DDS, Peterson, Krische & Van Horn

"I think we are typical of a lot of businesses our size—we moved into our new offices and went straight to work. We knew we needed art but we didn't really know how to go about making it happen —or feel like we had the time to deal with it. Mark Feiden and the Konza Art Company took care of everything. Mark looked over our space, made recommendations and had everything installed in no time. We felt like we had a completely new office! And we love that the images are local. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark and his company!"

—David Stofer, Principal, SageView Advisory Group–Kansas City

A recently completed, 25,000 square foot, Kansas City project where imagery
was equally divided between Kansas and Missouri scenes.

Our core offering is centered on the extensive collections of award-winning nature photographers Mark Feiden and Edward C. Robison III. Between them, we are able to cover Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Colorado and our home state of Kansas. We also offer general collections— Plains, American West, Southwest, etc., and have relationships with other artists and photographers.

The majority of the pieces that we offer are part of numbered editions (of particular interest to some of our larger clients for accounting purposes) and we offer a variety of size and framing options. Perhaps most important, we understand real-world budget constraints and are price competitive. By focusing on on fine-art photography and limited edition art prints, we are uniquely positioned to offer regionally meaningful, collectable, artwork on budget more typically associated with decorator art.

      Mark Feiden
      President/Cofounder
You occasionally hear someone say that their job is "so much fun that it can't really be considered work." It took me awhile to realize that I have become one of those people! Not only do I enjoy making photographs, but I also really enjoy selling them. And corporate art has been particularly rewarding because of the potential to positively impact a lot of people at one time.

Business owners and managers sometimes forget the important role that the physical environment plays in employee satisfaction and productivity. People are often surprised at how transformational what we do can be for a workspace—whether replacing outdated artwork or addressing blank walls, it makes a BIG impact on a space.

Whenever possible, we like to do installations during off-hours. Almost without exception, I get a call or email message the next morning that goes something like this, "You just won't believe how many positive comments I have received just this morning!" This of course means the world to me and it is a big part of what makes me excited about getting up the next day and trying to do it again!
